Anya Taylor-Joy cemented her connection to Hollywood recently by purchasing a stylish home in the Hollywood Hills that once reportedly served as a hunting cabin.
The 26-year-old Queen's Gambit star shelled out $2.3 million for the 2,310-square-foot house that dates back at least to 1921, Dirt reported on Wednesday.
The rising star's newest purchase comes shortly after she appeared in the critically acclaimed but underperforming Viking epic The Northman.
Setting down roots: Anya Taylor-Joy, 26, has purchased a secluded wooden home in the Hollywood Hills for $2.3 million, Dirt reported on Wednesday
Following some early work in television, Anya burst onto the scene with the critically acclaimed period horror film The Witch in 2015 (directed by her Northman helmer Robert Eggers), and she subsequently appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's hit thrillers Split and Glass, as well as last year's Last Night In Soho.
She'll next be seen in David O. Russell's period film Amsterdam.
Her new home was previously owned and sold by the Australian writer and director Gregor Jordan (known for directing Buffalo Soldiers and Ned Kelly) and his wife, New Zealand actress Simone Kessell, who is set to appear in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries for Disney+.
Anya paid the full asking price on the property, which is located on a 5,025-square-foot lot that's decorated with plenty of foliage for privacy.
Property records indicate that the three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house was built in 1921, but according to the outlet it may have actually been built as early as 1904, when it reportedly served as one of four hunting cabins built by a wealthy entrepreneur for his daughters.
The hardwood floors and tastefully wooden walls are a reminder of its history, but the home has gone through extensive renovations over more than a century of existence.
On the upswing: The rising star's newest purchase comes shortly after she appeared in the critically acclaimed but underperforming Viking epic The Northman and has gained considerable critical praise for other projects; seen April 18 in Hollywood

Elegant: The Frank Lloyd Wright–inspired house features colored-glass windows that are an homage to the designer, along with hardwood floors and a Noguchi pendant lamp, reportedly a gift to the sellers from the late Heath Ledger
It now boasts a tasteful Frank Lloyd Wright–inspired style, which would have appealed to some of its supposed former owners, which reportedly included Daniel Craig, Robert Downey Jr. and Ian McKellan.
The 'pre-Craftsman' house, which the listing calls 'literally a piece of Hollywood history,' provides plenty of privacy behind a gate, and a tall hedge helps to keep away wandering eyes.
The front yard is decorated with both a raised patio that's perfect for grilling and entertaining, along with a tasteful tiled in-ground hot tub, which guests will pass as they walk up to the front door.
The front living room features windows decorated with colored glass, a design feature widely used by Wright.
The space benefits from tasteful lighting via a spherical Noguchi pendant lamp in the center of the room, which was reportedly a gift to the sellers from the late Heath Ledger, who starred in Jordan's film Ned Kelly.
Staying warm: The kitchen is enlivened by a boxy beige fireplace, which is also close enough to the dining room to keep it toasty on chilly nights
Intimate: Its cabinets are painted a popular dark green shade, and the modest-sized space includes high-quality Viking appliances. Just off of the kitchen is a small sunroom with a lovely view of the surrounding brush, including a grove of bamboo, which gives it a fun, exotic feel
Gathering place: The dining room is also located next to the kitchen. It features plenty of windows for great natural lighting, as well as another fireplace, this time a more traditional white brick design

Outdoor connection: The former hunting cabin also features a stately wood-covered office, though Anya might be tempted by its abundant windows and a door that leads out into the backyard
Cozy: The three bedrooms are all located on the top floor, giving them prime views of the neighborhood. The master bedroom is significantly grander and boasts vaulted ceilings and doors that lead out to a balcony
Colorful: The two complete bathrooms are also upstairs, while a powder room is located on the first floor. One of the bathrooms features an inviting color scheme with coral walls and an elegant blue-tiled sink

Anya's master bedroom balcony includes a cover for some shade, but it also features a connection to the city with its view of the Sunset Strip.
Fans of succulents and desert flora will appreciate the rows of drought-resistant plants decorating the perimeter of the deck.
