Hi, what are you looking for?

John Wang, CEO, and founder of Bamboo Breakers, has announced the launch of a new training and development company designed to help Asian Americans break through the “bamboo ceiling” in corporate America. According to Wang, despite making up 5.6% of the United States population, only 1.5 percent of executive-level positions are held by Asian Americans. Through the flagship program of Bamboo Breakers, Executive Coaching for Asian American Leaders (ECAL) will be held. Bamboo Breakers provides access to top-tier executive coaching, mentorship opportunities, and networking events aimed at helping participants achieve their professional goals. With Executive Coaching for Asian American Leaders starting in January 2019 in Los Angeles, John Wang is on a mission to help talented Asian American professionals reach their full potential and break through the bamboo ceiling.

For John Wang, the inspiration for Bamboo Breakers came from his own experiences as an Asian American professional. “I’ve seen firsthand how hard it can be for Asian Americans to advance in their careers, even when they’re highly qualified,” says Wang. “There’s a lot of talent and potential in the Asian American community, but too often, people get stuck because they don’t have the right mentors or networks.”

In order to help participants, achieve their professional goals, Executive Coaching for Asian American Leaders will provide access to top-tier executive coaching. In addition, each participant will be paired with a mentor who can provide guidance and support. Finally, Executive Coaching for Asian American Leaders will host regular networking events, allowing participants to connect with other like-minded professionals.

“My hope is that Bamboo Breakers will help Asian Americans reach their full potential and break through the bamboo ceiling,” says Wang. “Together, we can create a more diverse and inclusive workplace for everyone.”

Ukraine has depleted its Soviet and Russian-designed weaponry and is now dependent on allies for arms to defend against Russia's invasion.

The horrors of the bloodiest chapter so far in the Ukraine conflict are poignantly captured in the words and drawings of an eight-year-old boy.
