Rattan is one of the most trending materials that has been predominantly endowing furniture pieces for a long time. Due to its durability and low maintenance properties, it was the obvious choice for outdoor furniture pieces. However, gradually, as the boundaries between the inside and outside blurred, Rattan has become a prominent part of the indoor realm, being used in furniture pieces like lounge chairs, centre tables, sofas, console tables and even storage units. One of the most playful elements in a bedroom, where a lot can be explored, is the headboard and the panelling behind the bed. While there is an array of materials available, rattan is becoming a popular choice for them. It provides a beautiful natural texture, which can be experimental according to the weaving pattern, accentuated by the warm-toned hue that complements all kinds of decor.
