Can you spot it in our June issue... twice!?

You know what makes something definitely, officially a trend? When you spot it twice in the same magazine! Flip through HB's June issue and you'll see all different kinds of homes—but two of them have a particularly unlikely connection. At a historic stone house in the Pennsylvania Poconos named after the matron of the family, Grandma Bunny, furry woodland creatures pop up in everything from wallpaper to rugs and trinkets. And deep in the heart of New England, a new-build house in Old Greenwich, CT has contemporary decor inspired by a family vacation to the American Southwest.

The two homes, designed by Shazalynn Cavin-Winfrey and Dan Mazzarini respectively, have little in common style-wise. But they've both got these killer basket cloche lamps from Roost hanging overhead!

In the Poconos retreat, the piece—which is hand-woven from palm leaves by artisans, mind you—caps off a bright white breakfast nook, where a curved banquette is upholstered in blue faux-bois inspired fabric that plays off the thick woods outdoors. Cavin-Winfrey first noticed the piece at market seven years ago. "I was instantly drawn to the scale, and how it was a hybrid of my 70s childhood with a major cool factor," she tells House Beautiful. "It would have been so predictable to throw up a white chandelier, or even a tole moment, but this pulls you into that corner and envelopes you like a cloche."

Mazzarini, who hung two of the lamps high above the Connecticut family's lounge-y living room, where the ceilings are a cool 16 feet high, selected them partially for their generous size. "I think it's the mixed materials—the inner shade feels refined and the outer layer feels organic. And they're BIG! I love an over-scaled light," he explains. "Plus, the woven material adds a little organic tone, which really worked for our client's aesthetic. We didn't want to overwhelm the space." This pair worked so perfectly in the room that we made them our cover stars.
